Sapna Nundloll (Founder/ Director)

Sapna grew up in Mauritius, an African island in the Indian Ocean, and moved to Europe in 2001. She studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London, then went to the South of France to obtain a PhD in Mathematical Biology from the Université Côte d'Azur (previously Université de Nice Sophia-Antipolis).

As a Space + Movement Consultant, Sapna brings strategic insight on sizing and capacity assessments, operations, wayfinding and signage content for public venues and wider territories.

Her approach is informed by her experience working in crossdisciplinary, multilingual, and multicultural teams across the world. Sapna speaks English, French and Mauritian Creole fluently.

Our memberships and affiliations reflect topics that allow us to further our understanding of spatial cognition, comfort, and safety, which is where we make a difference for our clients.

Sign Design SocietySapna has been a Member of the Sign Design Society since 2018. She was appointed to the Steering Group Committee in 2023. In this role, she has helped create the programme of CPD events for the year, identifying speakers to help bring sustainability, placemaking, and cognitive navigation into focus for the sign design community.

CogNav Group RIN — Associate Member since 2022.

Urban Health Council — An advocacy, collaboration and research organisation advancing knowledge of critical urban health issues. Sapna is an active member since 2022.

Fieldwork Facility — London, UK

We are providing strategic wayfinding and navigation advice to Fieldwork Facility on their work for the V&A East Museums.

Novaterra — Beau Plan, Mauritius

We have been appointed as Space + Movement Consultant for the development of Beau Plan Smart City in the North of Mauritius. Our advice covers a wide range of mobility-related questions for multiple transport modes, including strategies for sustainable and healthy modes of transport including pedestrian movement, cycling, public transport.

Move For Art — St Pierre, Mauritius

We are helping Move For Art plan and operate the House of Digital Art, a pioneering cultural space exploring Indian Ocean archipelagean identity through art. The spaces at the curator’s disposal comprise of an art gallery, artist studios, and a workshop room in Port Louis, Mauritius.

The quality of our work is valued by clients across multiple sectors. Since our inception, we have provided advice on Major events, sport venues, cultural and retail spaces, transport hubs, workspaces, the urban realm, Smart Cities, and nationwide strategies.
