From small museum spaces to citywide festivals and national territories, each project presents a unique set of challenges and opportunities. We will work with you to scope your needs and identify how best we can support you on all spatial aspects of your site.

  • Workshops

I offer workshops in navigation and placemaking to groups of 10-20 people who want to refresh their thinking on the topic or novices who would like to be introduced to key points. Sessions are designed to encourage co-learning and for participants to continue to explore the topic long after the workshop.

  • Movement planning

I help you understand how the various parts of your site or building function, how fast they “flow”, how they can be sized to ensure that your visitors have adequate space and support to fully enjoy the experience of navigating your space. An ideal space has no bottlenecks and using simple mathematical models, I can help you identify what your target KPIs for your space might be, where it may be lacking in services, staff and signage, and where you may reduce costs.

  • Bid support (English, French)

Using geography and spatial analysis as a starting point, I help clients shape and win bids. I have expertise supporting UK firms prospecting and winning contracts on French speaking markets, namely France and Switzerland.

Previous work includes two winning bids on the public sector market (“Marchés publics”) for a major sport event taking place in 2024 in Paris and three public realm multimodal transport spaces for a railway project in Geneva. In addition to pitching, I support on administrative aspects of the bid ensuring all official documents are in line and firms provide the correct UK documentation when like-for-like documentation is amiss. I can also support UK teams on preparing for oral interviews and contract negotiations.

To ensure that translations are seamless, I work closely with a vetted network of English-to-French translators who have experience producing winning bid documents for the tech and planning sectors. The translations we produce stay true to the original English text in spirit and tone, while their expression in French reads contemporary and native to the jury assessing the bid.

  • Cartography

I produce beautiful informative maps that provide further insight on your assets and the legibility of your site for your visitors. In addition to map data you may provide, I use data from site visits and from open sources to enhance geographic intelligence of your place. Applying appropriate visualisation and analysis techniques, I will help you build a comprehensive picture of your site.

  • Strategy

I bring the latest knowledge on movement planning from my work experience and active participation in talks covering a diverse range of fields. Working directly with leaders in architecture, property development, major events and navigation planners helps me bring unique insight to your project. The strategic advice I provide can cover the high-level, large-scale vision down to more specific navigational and operational insight and solutions.

  • Smart Cities
